New Delhi: Sparking excited speculations in the smartphone market, one mobile phone leaker has revealed that Apple might announce release of its iPhone 7 as soon as September.
Evan Blass, one speculator, tweeted: "iPhone 2016 release: week of September 12th." Evan Blass who is a Mobile Reporter at Venture Beat, has accurately revealed in the past information about the launch of Android and iOS products.
"Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th," Evan tweeted.
One of the most talked-about features of the iPhone 7 – according to rumours – is the absence of headphone jack (high chances of using Bluetooth enabled headset to directly connect with the phone.)
It is also being reported that Apple will ditch the conventional 16GB model and introduce a larger 256GB model phone on its next release.
Another feature which is being speculated is the absence of home button. Although the home button feature will still be there, there might be no physical button to press upon. Instead, it might all be related to touch.
