MOVIE REVIEW: DEATH RACE
RATING: * * * 1/2

'
A happy man with a beautiful and satisfied family suddenly finds himself wrongly convicted and sent behind bars of one of the most deadly world prisons, Terminal Island. His job is to replace Frankenstein, or the most coveted masked racer in the world in a fatal-dirty-car-racing -viewing match.

While a dilapidated American economy continues to  wheeze under the global crisis, a new crop of  American businessmen has taken birth that will use sadeism as their best bet to make money.

While the audience invest millions of dollars to watch a macabre three day long race between incorrigible prisoners, the investors and the penetentiary warden, Henessy rake in moolah.

While Henessey will not let her masked racer die an untoward death for reasons of his immense popularity, his wrongly convicted suitable replacement will change the rules of the game forever.

Death race begins as a boring prologue to the creative desires of a somewhat novice director but soon turns into an exciting show of vehicular monstrosity and adrenaline rushes.

A great champion for the cause of creative liberties, Death Race may seem a wee bit impractical to be true but will nevertheless provide for thrilling entertainment.
