NEW DELHI: After a landslide victory in Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and is expected to invite him for his swearing-in ceremony as Delhi’s new Chief Minister on February 14.

However, Kejriwal’s meeting with Home Minister Rajnath Singh and President Pranab Mukherjee for Delhi’s full statehood has been confirmed and the meeting over tea is being closely followed by party workers and ‘Aam Aadmi’.

There are many announcements made by AAP which needs the support of the Centre including regularising of unauthorised colonies, land for schools and colleges.

Along with PM Modi, AAP will invite all union cabinet ministers, including seven BJP MPs of Delhi, Anna Hazare andKiran Bedi for the oath taking ceremony.

Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has won 67 out of 70 seats in Delhi assembly polls while the BJP, which has faced its first electoral defeat, won three and the Congress has no seats.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi congratulated Arvind Kejriwal on his thumping victory in Delhi and assured him of the full support from the centre in the development of the national capital, saying we will work together for development.

On the day Kejriwal won Delhi’s heart, the Delhi Police provided him the Z-plus security and the other facilities will be given him after he takes oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi.
