The result of civil services preliminary examination has been announced by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on their official website — upsc.gov.in. The UPSC result had already been published on the website on the night of July 27.
The exam took place on June 18 this year.
Going by those who took the examination, this year’s paper had much tougher questions in comparison to the previous ones. This year’s questions were mostly on the Central Government run schemes and initiatives — Goods and Services Tax (GST), Benami transactions, ‘Vidyanjali Yojana’ and ‘Smart India Hackathon’ etc.
Lakhs of people who appeared for the exams can easily download or view their results on the official UPSC website — upsc.gov.in — by following these simple steps.
a) Open the official website mentioned.
b) Go on the homepage, open the ‘UPSC Civil Services results 2017′ which must flashing on the right side of the website.
c) New page displaying roll number wise results will open.
d) Check your result and take a print out for future use.
Also, all the qualified students who want participate in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2017 — scheduled to be held on Saturday, October, 28, 2017 — have to fill up the DAF (CSM) online and submit it online.
The forms will be made available on the official website of the commission till 6 PM on August 17.
