Bigg Boss 9: Did Radhe Maa send a legal notice to Salman Khan’s show?

MUMBAI: If reports are to be believed, then controversial god-woman Radhe Maa, actors Shiney Ahuja, Prachi Desai, Sunil Grover and another spiritual guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim are miffed with channel and makers of the Bigg Boss show. Bollywood ‘Dabangg’ created a major buzz after he announced that he will continue to host the show and will be seen leading Bigg Boss 9 also, ending all speculations of him saying good bye to the controversial reality show.
People went crazy after the first promo of Bigg Boss 9 was released over the weekend and the speculations over the participants in the show this season are escalating with each passing day. One name that has continued to remain in news for its association with show for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss is self-styled god-woman Radhe Maa. Radhe Maa is the current controversy queen who has been making headlines for a while now, but for no good reason. However, the followers of Radhe Maa have not taken the reported association of their guru and the controversial show in healthy spirits. Furious over the rumours, one of the supporters of Radhe Maa has slapped the channel with a legal notice. “We are suing them for maligning Radhe Maa’s name. She was never offered the show, has not been signed and will not be a part of it. She is not interested in reality TV,” Radhe Maa’s follower Sanjeev Gupta was quoted in a media report. On the other hand, actor Shiney Ahuja who recently made a comeback with the recently released movie ‘Welcome Back’ replied angrily over his name also being used in the rumoured list of Bigg Boss. On being quizzed, 40-year-old Shiney told a tabloid, “I have been reading reports about doing the show since 2011. It has been three years and they don’t stop. This year too, my lawyer rang me to inform that once again my name was being associated with Bigg Boss. Apart from these two, other names that have been roped in a similar issue who have expressed their anger over it include Prachi Desai, spiritual guru turned actor and director Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, comedian Sunil Grover and actor Dino Morea.
Several controversies have erupted already even as the show is yet to go on air. But this is no surprise as this is what Bigg Boss famous for! Isn’t it? So, all you Bigg Boss fans out there, fasten your seat belt as the show is all set to keep you occupied for an hour, or even more than that everyday very soon.
