Marathi Film 'Court': Resigned from Jury due to Amol Palekar, says Filmmaker Rahul Rawail

A Marathi film, 'Court', selected for the Oscars has whipped up a controversy. Filmmaker Rahul Rawail, who was part of the selection jury has resigned from his post after the selection. Though he alleges Amol Palekar, the committee's chairman's 'Obnoxious' behaviour as the reason behind his resignation. Some say the actual difference was over the film's selection. The film federation's however rubbished his claims as being 'ridiculous'. And say the selection of 'court' as India's entry to the oscars was unanimous.
