I like the way Rochelle is: Ankit Gera

Bigg Boss 9 has taken a fresh turn and small screen actor Ankit Gera is the first one to be evicted from the Bigg Boss house. Gera who was once dating Roopali Tyagi, another contestant of Bigg Boss Double Trouble was confident that he would not be eliminated early on in the show; at least not in the first round, but the results left the actor disheartened.

After stepping out of the controversial house, Gera admitted he admired Bigg Boss contestant Rochelle Rao’s behaviour with her boyfriend Keith Sequeira and wished he could  have a girlfriend like her.  “I like the way Rochelle is. The chemistry between her and Keith is very good. She is so good and open-minded. Everyone should get a girlfriend like her,” Ankit Gera told a news agency.

On being quizzed if Rochelle was insecure about her relationship with Keith as he is tied up in a ‘bandhan’ with Iranian model Mandana Karimi, Gera replied, “Every girl is somewhere or the other insecure but she does not show that. Also, I feel, Keith does not give any chance for anyone to point a finger at him. He is very smart that way. He knows how to handle, and when to say what.” (Also Read: Bigg Boss 9: Is Mandana Karimi secretly married? See marriage certificate here…)

The actor believes that Mandana and Keith are playing the best game in the house and will go really far in the game. “I see a very sophisticated game going on between them. They are being very classy and elegant. They are not playing it cheap,” he said.

Ankit Gera was one of the nominated contestants of Bigg Boss 9 along with Roopal Tyagi, Digangana Suryavanshi, Suyyash Rai, Rimi Sen, Vikas Bhalla and Yuvika Choudhary.

Surprised over his eviction, Ankit expressed that he was not expecting to leave the house in the first week itself. “No one expected me to get evicted. I was friendly and normal to everyone as they all were nice to me on my face. Little did I know people were bitching about me behind my back! After I came out, I realised I shouldn't have been friendly,” said the television actor.

Tagging friend Suyyash Rai in the Bigg Boss house as ‘fake’, the actor said that he was looking forward to be back in the house as a wild card entry but said that this time around he would not be friendly with the housemates.
