MUMBAI: Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued notices to Bollywood celebrities including, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Govinda and Manoj Bajpayee as well for starring in ‘Pan Masala and Gutkha’ advertisements.
FDA inspects safety standards of food items to check if they are adulterated or not and whether they are safe for consumption or not.
The notice questions all these stars as to why do they endorse such products even after knowing that they are injurious to health and against health standards.
FDA has issued notices keeping in mind the huge fan following these celebrities command and how every action of theirs influences the audience at large.
