Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar’s latest film ‘Airlift’ is faring quite well at the box office.
The movie, directed by Raja Krishna Menon, starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur has already done business of Rs 26 crores within 2 days of its release. 'Airlift' enjoyed a great opening collecting Rs 12 crores on the first day in India alone.
The movie based on true story of evacuation of Indians during the gulf war in 1990 has received great reviews from both fans as well as film critics.

On the other hand, Ekta kapoor’s ‘Kya kool Hain Hum 3’, whose release clashed with ‘Airlift’, has been a disappointment to movie buffs.
The film had an average opening collecting Rs 8 crores at the box office. However, its collection is dipping slowly due to negative reviews by both fans and critics alike.
The film is lagging behind patriotic ‘Airlift’ and is expected to have another drop on the occasion of Republic day.
So we can safely say that the Box office race has almost been won by ‘Airlift’.
