Actor Ranveer Singh was on Sunday discharged from a hospital after undergoing surgery on his shoulder, which he hurt during filming.
Singh, 29, who was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning, gave his Twitter followers regular updates right from the operating theatre.
Before the operation, the actor shared a selfie while he was hooked to the monitors.
“Live tweet from the operation theatre!!” he captioned the picture.
He then tweeted, “About to get knocked out!”
“He injected my neck ! Whoa!!,” read the last tweet from the actor, which was around 8.56am, probably just before the anaesthesia kicked in.
Singh made sure he updated his followers after the procedure was over.
“Surgery went well. Back home now and all set for the Rehab phase. Thank you all for your love and concern! #stongerthanbefore #eyeofthetiger,” he tweeted.
Singh injured his shoulder while shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Bajirao Mastani where he stars as the Peshwa.
Actress Deepika Padukone plays Mastani while Priyanka Chopra portrays the role of Kashibai, Bajirao’s first wife.
