Supreme Court hearing on Friday decides next step in Salman Khan's hit and run case

The Supreme Court is expected to address Salman Khan’s hit and run case on Friday the 5th of February. Justice J.S. Kher and Justice C. Nagappan will be on the bench that will hear his case.

Salman Khan has filed a caveat in his defence in the Supremem Court. He has stated that he wants his version of events to be heard, as well. This was after the Maharashtra government had moved the Supreme Court against the Bombay High Court order giving a clean chit to the actor in the hit and run case.

The Maharashtra government has filed a Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court challenging the Bombay High Court verdict on the case after Bombay High Court Justice A.R. Joshi had acquitted the actor of all charges.

The hearing on Friday will determine whether he will be allowed to present his version of events from the night of the hit and run incident.
