For 'Baaghi' Tiger Shroff underwent extensive Kalaripayattu training

Mumbai: Known for his smooth dance moves and awe-inspiring action sequences, actor Tiger Shroff, who is prepping for his second Bollywood film ‘Baaghi’, says he had to go through extensive training in Kalaripayattu for the actioner.

Kalaripayattu is a martial art form which originated as a style in Kerala.

"I underwent extensive training in Kalaripayattu before we started shoot as the martial art form is an important part of the film. It was a thoroughly enriching experience," Tiger said in statement.

He will be seen performing some never seen before stunts in this movie

Directed by Sabbir Khan, ‘Baaghi’ also stars actress Shraddha Kapoor. Sudheer Babu plays as antagonist which marks his debut in Hindi cinema.

Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film's trailer will release on March 14.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 29 April 2016.
