Mumbai: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan had yesterday sent a legal notice to Kangana Ranaut through his lawyer Deepesh Mehta for allegedly tarnishing his image. The notice apparently seeks an apology from the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress for defaming Hrithik.
The reason behind the legal notice can be said to be an interview that Kangana gave to Pinkvilla about the Aashiqui 3 rumours: “Yes, many lame rumours are doing the rounds, even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me that chapter is over and I don't dig graves," she is quoted as having said.
The report was published on January 28. On the same day Hrithik Roshan tweeted which further intensified the matter: “Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming. Thanks but no thanks.”

In the notice, Hrithik asked the ‘Queen’ actress that she should call for a press conference and render an apology to him, spelling out that she had not hinted at Hrithik Roshan as her ‘silly ex’. Else he would make all her correspondence with him, public.”
At the same time, Kangana had her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee send out a legal notice to Hrithik. She charged Hrithik with intimidation and threat under respective sections of the Indian Penal Code.

According to Kangana, she never took any names in public hence her comments cannot be termed as defamation. Apparently, she has given 5 days' time to Hrithik to revert.
