Akshay Kumar detained at Heathrow airport

London: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on Wednesday was detained at the Heathrow Airport, London.
As per reports, Khiladi Kumar was detained at the airport for almost an hour. Travelling without a visa is rumoured to be the reason for his detention.
Akshay Kumar, however, refuted the news saying he was out of the airport in no time and was travelling on a valid visa.
The superstar is in London for a 15-day shoot for ‘Rustom’, in which he plays a naval officer. The movie is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, and the thriller-drama also stars Esha Gupta and Illeana D'Cruz.
The film is loosely-based on the infamous 1951 Nanavati case, which follows the story of K. M. Nanavati who pumped three bullets into his wife's lover.
‘Rustom’ is slated for release on August 16, 2016 and might clash with Hrithik Roshan's ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Also Aamir Khan reportedly has shown interest in releasing his film ‘Dangal’ on the same date.
