Mumbai: After directing ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, Anurag Kashyap is back with another crime thriller ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ which is based on the serial killings in Mumbai.
Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the thriller will see Nawazuddin playing the role of real life serial killer, Raman Raghav in Mumbai during in the 1960’s.
The ‘Dev D’ director took to Twitter and posted on Sunday the first look of his upcoming ‘bloody’ thriller Raman Raghav 2.0.
The film is expected to premiere at the Cannes International Film Festival this year.
In 2014, Kashyap co-produced and co-edited Kangana Ranaut’s comedy-drama ‘Queen’. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Editing and the film also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
Anurag also worked in a mini-series ‘Yudh’ as a creative director featuring Amitabh Bachchan and subsequently presented two documentary films, ‘The World Before Her’ in 2012 and ‘Katiyabaaz’ 2014.
