Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited flick 'Raees', which was scheduled to clash with Salman Khan's 'Sultan' on Eid this year, will now hit the theaters on January 26, 2017. But the much-anticipated clash of the Khans has now been replaced by the clash of the titans — Rajinikanth and Salman.
The makers of Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil gangster drama 'Kabali' have not yet announced a release date for the movie but the implied release date has been June or July. With Salman starrer 'Sultan' slated to hit the silver screen during the same time Bollywood fans may see the two superstars take on each other at the box office.
The first teaser of Kabali garnered over 4 million views in under 24 hours, making it the highest for a south Indian film. The teaser of the Salman Khan film garnered 3 million views in 24 hours.
