Brahmotsavam fails to surpass Sardaar Gabbar Singh's premiere collection

Brahmotsavam fails to defeat Sardaar Gabbar Singh

Hyderabad: Though Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam did good pre-release business but it failed to beat the record of Pawan Kalyan's Sardar Gabbaar Singh.
The graph of Brahmotsavam's premieres tally was less than Sardaar’s Premieres tally because of the some poor reviews.
As per sources, Brahmotsavam just managed to cross Srimanthudu’s premieres collections and has become the biggest opener among Mahesh's movies in the US.
Srimanthudu has collected $565K from the premieres and Sardaar collected around $635K. Baahubali is leading and way ahead of other films with $1470K from premieres.
Brahmotsavam brings back Mahesh Babu and director Srikanth Addala together after "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" (SVSC). Though the expectation was high from the SVSC combo but the movie did not do well as it was expected. The Srikanta Adala directorial didinoty do well because of its pointless screening and TV serial kind of emotions.
Brahmotsavam did not live up to the expectations of the audience.
