Mumbai: Bollywood is no stranger to controversies and Tuesday night was dramatic as usual. Popular singer Arijit Singh took to his Facebook account to post a note seeking an apology from superstar Salman Khan. However, he seems to have been instantly repentant for taking on the ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood as the ‘Tum Hi Ho’ artiste soon removed the post.
Apparently, the 29-year-old singer crossed the ‘Sultan’ actor at a gala music programme, when he took offense and since then, the actor has reportedly banned him from singing in any of his films. In the letter, Arijit can be seen apologising to Salman and claims that he has repeatedly done so on numerous occasions but Salman’s cold-shoulder to him over a song in his film ‘Sultan’ has left the singer distraught.
Here’s the Facebook note that he deleted later:
Although he deleted the first post within an hour, he posted a second post fearing trouble: “I hope he gets my letter through someway. PS. This whole thing will backfire at me I know. Prayers.”
