5 years imprisonment for Salman Khan: Films that will get affected

Actor Salman Khan, who is awarded with five years imprisonment on Wednesday in the 13-year-old hit-and-run case which killed one and injured four others, has some recent films in line up for this year which are likely to get affected. 

After all the charges against the 49-year-old actor were proven in the court, the superstar was announced guilty and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Earlier on the judgement day, the sleepless nights were not only for the actor and his family members, but also for his directors and producers.  

The actor, who is one of the most bankable stars in the Bollywood, has some big releases in this year. 

Rs. 200 crore and Rs. 250 crore are reportedly riding on the actor this year for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Let’s have a look on the films that will get affected after the court verdict:

Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Salman, known for his philanthropic act, is reportedly committed to wrapping up his recent movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan opposite him which is set to release on Eid this year.

The ‘Dabangg’ actor was recently in Srinagar for the movie shoot and had to fly back Mumbai for the court verdict. As the verdict was announced against the actor, the release of the movie may be in trouble.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Salman who was planned to romance with Sonam Kapoor is not sure if he would be able to complete the shooting which is scheduled to release on Diwali. 

‘Prem Ratab Dhan Payo’, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, is the upcoming family drama film starring Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh. 

Shuddhi: Film-maker Karan Johar who was supposed to take Hrithik Roshan signed Salman Khan at the last moment for the movie ‘Shuddhi’ while the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

The above mentioned movies ware sure to go through tough times as Salman Khan was announced guilty in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

No Entry Mein Entry: ‘Kick’ actor, who is undoubtedly biggest star in the Bollywood industry, could be again seen in the comic role in the sequel of ‘No Entry’.

After the success of ‘No Entry’, director Anees Bazmee had decided to make the sequel ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ which stars Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu. But the future of this movie is in doubt as Salman was announced five years in jail. 

Sultan: After the success of Yash Raj films ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, directed by Kabir Khan, Salman Khan have decided to work for the another film named ‘Sultan’ which will be apparently directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Salman Khan reportedly signed many new projects unknowingly what the verdict is.
