Mumbai: If the latest gossip from B-town is to be believed, 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' director Zoya Akhtar could replace Hritik Roshan with Fawad Khan in her upcoming project based on 'Mumbai Rappers'.
The 'Kapoor and Sons' actor Fawad Khan has been briefed about the intro of the upcoming film and both Zoya and Fawad may soon fix a meeting to take the project further, according to DNA.
This new development happens to be after the 'Luck By Chance' director liked Fawad's role in 'Kapoor & Sons.'
The film already has Ranveer Singh in one of the lead roles and Hrithik Roshan was approached to play another lead role. After Hrithik turned down the offer, the director is out looking for another 'macho' actor. So will it be Fawad Khan?
Khan made his Bollywood debut when he played the leading role of a prince in the 2014 romantic comedy 'Khoobsurat' along side Sonam Kapoor. The film won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Fawad made his film debut with a supporting role in the 2007 Pakistani movie 'Khuda Kay Liye'.
