New Delhi: Bollywood's 'Bad Boy', Salman Khan sparked a new controversy with a shocking statement he made in his recent interview, he said that he felt like a 'raped woman' when an interviewer asked about his experience of playing a wrestler in his upcoming movie Sultan.
In the interview, prior to his movie, the actor made a statement that left social media in a shocked state. During the interview when Salman Khan was asked about his experience of playing a wrestler in his upcoming film Sultan, he said that he felt like a “raped woman”.
As per reports, 'Sultan' actor said “When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight. I would eat and then, head right back to training. That couldn’t stop”.
“While shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved. That was tough for me because if I was lifting, I’d have to lift the same 120-kilo guy 10 times for 10 different angles. And likewise, get thrown that many times on the ground. This act is not repeated that many times in the real fights in the ring.”
The statement by the controversy maker about feeling like a raped woman did not go well with many of his fans as many of them took to Twitter to criticise the actor’s comment.
Apart from facing criticism from his fans, the National Commission for Women(NCW) also lashed out against the 'Sultan' actor giving him a seven day time period to explain his 'raped woman' comment.
Commission has sent him (Salman Khan) a letter asking him why he said this: Lalitha Kumaramangalam (NCW Chief) pic.twitter.com/cWqcxhMioz
