Oka Manasu movie review: A boring romantic saga!

Hyderabad: The most-awaited Telegu movie Oka Manasu featuring Naga Shourya and Niharika Konidela in leading roles hit the silver-screen on Friday. Niharika is making her debut in the Telugu film industry with ‘Oka Manasu’.
The plot of ‘Oka Manasu’ revolves around the life of two individuals, the male protagonist Surya (Shourya) who aspires to be a politician and his love interest Sandhya (Niharika) who is a doctor. They both fall in love and then problem starts, the way they deal with their emotions form the crux of the movie.
The movie is set in Vizianagaram, where Surya is the son a renowned politician who wants his son to succeed him as MLA and Surya also commits to fulfil his father's dream. Sandhya his love interest expresses her fear of living her life with him which leaves Surya in a situation where he has to choose either his father or his love (Sandhya).
The movie has received a mixed review from the audience. The chemistry between the couple is appreciable, Niharika had done justice to her role and Shourya has delivered decent performance.
The narrative in the movie is slow but there are enough of decent romance and comedy in the movie.
Oka Manasu is written and directed by Rama Raju Gottimukkala. The film is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, Ravi Prakash under Madhura Entertainment and TV9.
