Salman Khan slammed with Rs.10 crore lawsuit after his ‘rape’ analogy

New Delhi: A gang rape victim from Hisar, Haryana, issued a legal notice against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan seeking Rs 10 crore for his insensitive comment. The notice has been sent to Salman Khan through Punjab and Haryana HC advocate Rajat Kalsan.
As per reports, the victim is still battling mental trauma and says she is deeply hurt by the star's remarks and added that her image was tarnished. Her lawyer stated that his client's psychological degradation is a result of Salman’s controversial comment.
As per the report, if the superstar fails to pay the compensation to the victim within 15 days, the lawyer will be forced to file a civil and criminal case against him.
Salman Khan had courted controversy after he compared to his state of being tired after training for his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ as that of a woman who was raped. Such insensitive remark by a famous actor outraged people across the country.
