The MHADA sent a legal notice to Anil Kapoor on Sunday.

New Delhi: A legal notice was sent to Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor on Sunday by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) for allegedly appearing in a construction firm advertisement, which has claimed that it is offering flats at rates cheaper than that of MHADA in Virar and Nashik.
Mhada secretary Bharat Bastewad said, “How can anyone endorse any firm’s claims without confirming whether they are true or false? We have issued a legal notice to Anil Kapoor for endorsing false claims. Mr Kapoor should have confirmed with Mhada before endorsing such claims by a private construction firm.”
Mhada has also issued a legal notice to the owners of the Real Estate developers, citing that the firm has illegally used Mhada's name to promote a scheme based on false information.
