New Delhi: Salman Khan's 'Sultan' did a remarkable job on day two making a profit of Rs 37.2 crore, which is a 1.8 percent increase compared to its opening day. The film minted Rs 36.5 crore on the first day from Indian markets and the two-day box office collection of Sultan stands at Rs. 73.74 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted "#Sultan had a FABULOUS Day 2... Was ROCKING from evening shows onwards... Plexes, single screens saw BIG gains... S-U-P-E-R-B.."

The opening day collection of Sultan was phenomenal both in India and overseas and is the highest of this year.

The film was released on 4500 screens in India and is believed to go beyond Rs 150 crore during the first weekend.
The highest that Salman Khan's movie has earned on its first day is Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo with Rs 40.35 crore in its kitty.
After 2010, Salman Khan has given hits like Dabbang, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
