New Delhi: The 13-year-old flute player from Amritsar Suleman was declared as the winner of seventh edition of India’s got talent on Saturday.

Suleman received a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh, a Maruti Suzuki Celerio and a trophy with the signature of the jury members of the show.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Suleiman was quoted saying, “I am so happy I finally won India’s Got Talent. It is a huge achievement for me. I guess Antara and Papai, too, deserved to win. Their performance was beautiful.

In the grand finale, Suleman competed with Mallakhamb, Akash and Atharva and Antara and Papai.

Suleman has a music background. His father is a flute player and his mother plays harmonium. Presently, Suleman is getting trained under Pt Hariprasad Chaurasiya.

The seventh season of India’s got talent started from April 30 with celebrated names like Kirron Kher, Malaika Arora Khan and Karan Johar as the jury.

The show was hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and Siddharth Shukla.
