New Delhi: With the release of Salman-starrer Bollywood flick 'Sultan' and how superbly it is performing at the box office, the row over Salman Khan's 'raped woman' remark has taken the back-stage, much next to his performance in 'Sultan'.
Anushka Sharma, the lady love of the protagonist in the movie, when asked about her thoughts on Salman's remark, said that it was insensitive of the actor to have said what he said.
In an interview, Anushka said, "I would first like to find out what exactly Salman said because I was not present at the time he made his comment."
However, Anushka added that the remark had surprised her and she further exclaimed that everyone had a responsibility towards whatever they said, publicly and in general.
"I don't know what was going through Salman's mind when he said this," said Anushka. "I can't assess his remark."
Salman Khan courted national controversy when he said that he felt like a 'raped woman' every time he had to shoot a wrestling scene for the movie.
