New Delhi: The makers of 'Great Grand Masti' on Sunday said that they have suffered huge losses after the online leak of the movie, weeks before its release. A complaint has been filed with the Cyber crime cell.
Director Indra Kumar said that it's a big loss for the makers of the film.
“This has happened for the first time when a film is leaked 17 days before its official release. It has killed our film. It's a tough time for us. We are sad and upset," Kumar said in a press conference held in Mumbai.
The cast of the film including Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh,Aftab Shivdasani and Urvashi Rautela expressed their displeasure over the leak on the movie and said it is going to affect the movie’s box-office collection.
Sonali Raut broke down while talking about piracy and leak of the movie.
The movie earned Rs 2 crore on its opening day.
