Hyderabad: The much-awaited Telugu movie Pelli Choopulu starring Ritu Varma and Vijay Devarakonda hit the silver-screen on Friday. 
The story of the movie revolves around the life of two individuals, Prashanth played by Vijay and Chitra played by Ritu. Prashanth plays the role of a happy-go-lucky guy and Chitra plays the role of a career-oriented girl.  Prashanth's father decides that his son should get married to Chitra but Chitra is least interested in marriage. Chitra wants to start her own food -truck business and Prashanth desires to become a chef. The crux of the movie is about what happens in the lives of Prashanth and Chitra. 
The movie has received mixed reviews from audience in general. Vijay Devarakonda's solid performance is appreciable. The movie has attracted youngsters who can easily relate themselves to the situations in the movie. 
Pelli Choopulu is directed by award winning director, Tharun Bhasker and produced by Raj Kandukuri. The movie also features Anish Kuruvilla, Kedar Shanker, Gururaj Manepalli, Padmaja Lanka, EL Sujatha, Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Abhay Bethiganti playing the supportive role. The music for the movie was scored by composer Vishal Sagar.
