New Delhi: Pop singer Katy Perry on Monday released the second teaser video of her latest single, ‘Rise’ which is going to be the anthem for 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
The ‘Teenage Dream’ hitmaker posted a 27-second teaser of the official video and announced that the full version will be released on August 4 on the eve of Olympics.
In the clip, Perry is seen struggling inside water with a pink parachute, crawling across the dessert, pulling the parachute in a hangar and trying to get off the cliff where she got stuck with the parachute.
“I am honored that NBC Olympics has chosen to use it as an anthem before and during the Rio Games,” Perry wrote when she announced the new single last month.
It has been a good week for Katycats as the American singer teased them with new promotional campaigns.
“Rise,” which was released in July as an anthem for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, was produced by Swedish hitmaker Max Martin.
