Chetan Bhagat announces his upcoming novel

New Delhi: Famous Indian author Chetan Bhagat on Friday, August 20 announced the title of his upcoming book, 'One Indian Girl'.

Bhagat took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement of his book along with a look of the book's video teaser.

He tweeted, “Happy to share that my next book is called ‘One Indian Girl’! The teaser is here!”

In Bhagat's latest book 'One Indian Girl', the protagonist is an Indian girl, Radhika and the book is written from her viewpoint.

The teaser says, “Hi, I’m Radhika Mehta and I’m getting married this week. I work in a top investment bank. Thank you for reading my crazy story. However, let me warn you. You may not like me too much. One, I make a lot of money. Two, I have an opinion on everything. Three, I have had sex before. Now, if I were a guy, you’d be cool with all this. Since I am a girl, these things don’t really make me too likeable, do they?”

As per the teaser of Bhagat's upcoming book, he wants to break the Indian stereotypes by comparing Indian men and women.

Chetan Bhagat had earlier authored seven books (5 fiction and 2 non-fictions). His latest book 'Half-Girlfriend' has been adopted as a movie scheduled to release next year.
