‘31st October’ trailer released

New Delhi: The trailer of '31st October' directed by National-Award winning director Shivaji Lotan Patil was released on Wednesday. The movie is based on the aftermath of the assassination of India’s former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984.  
The 2-minute trailer narrates a spine-chilling tale of a Sikh family trying to survive in Delhi during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

While speaking to the press during the trailer launch, Harry Sachdeva, the producer said, “We have made this film because we wanted this generation to see and know what had happened in 1984 when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated. We have not made this film as a political statement, but as a tribute to all those who came together to display acts of heroism by saving their Sikh brethren during the riots.”
31st October starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan is slated to hit the silver screen on October 7. The movie is produced by Harry Sachdeva, Magical Dreams Productions and Anand Motion Pictures and presented by Panorama Studios. The music for the movie is scored by Vijay Verma.
