New Delhi: One of the biggest entertainment caterers of Bollywood, Ajit Sinha, is back with his new satirical black humour film, ‘Wah Taj’, which is all set to hit the silver screens on September 23rd.
The movie ‘Wah Taj’ stars Shreyas Talpade as the protagonist opposite the critically acclaimed actress Manjari Fadnis.
Wah Taj is a Bollywood drama film directed by Ajit Sinha, presented by Jayantilal Gada (Pen India Pvt Ltd) and co-produced by Pawan Sharma and Abhinav Verma under the banners of Pun Films Pvt. Ltd. and SpyderWave Films.
The satirical Bollywood drama comes from the successful associate director of Khiladi and Baazigar, Ajit Sinha. The directorial venture by Sinha, deals with the ongoing plight and struggle of the farmers and highlights their issues and the corrupt practices of the system and the government.
As the name suggests, the movie revolves around the Taj Mahal and its ownership.
The character Tukaram Raosaheb Marathe is portrayed by Shreyas Talpade while Manjari Fadnis plays the role of his wife Sunanda. The character of their daughter Lakshmi is put up by Sona Verma.
The twist arises in the happy couple’s life when they come to Agra to claim the land of their ancestors and get to know that it’s the same land on which Taj Mahal is built. Then begins the story of struggle of the farmer’s family.
The interesting trailer grabs audience’s attention, also suggesting a funny plot-line.
