'Iru Mugan' Movie Review

Chennai: The much-awaited Chiyaan Vikram starrer bilingual science-fiction Iru Mugan hit the silver screen on Thursday. 
In this movie, Chiyaan Vikram is seen playing dual role; he plays the role of both the hero and the villain. The main plot of Iru Mugan (Inkokkadu) revolves around the discovery of a mysterious power boosting drug called ‘Speed Inhaler’, invented by a baddie named ‘Love’ (Vikram), and a RAW agent Akhilan (Vikram). 
An attack at the Indian embassy in Malaysia makes the India’s premier investigation agency RAW reach out to its ex-undercover agent ‘Akhilan’ and request him to investigate the incident. The look alike Akhlian, Love is behind the incident and they both have a connection.
Four yeras ago, Akhilan and his wife Meera (Nayantara) tried to bust the drug manufacturing empire of ‘Love’ in Kashmir. In that operation, Meera was killed and Akhilan also assumes that he killed Love. When Akhilan arrives in Malaysia to investigate in the Indian Embassy case, he discovers that 'Love' was not dead. In Akhilan's later part of the investigation he is assisted by Aarushi (Nithiya Menen) a RAW agent.
What happens when Akhilan and Love confronts each other forms the later part of the story. 
The movie Iru Mugan has received mixed reviews from the audience. Although the first-half of the movie is brilliantly executed but the second half of the movie totally spoilt the show.
The main attraction of the movie was Vikram, the movie is an out and out Vikram show. His chemistry with both the actress is sizzling
