Kapil Sharma questions PM Modi on ‘acche din’; Devendra Fadnavis promises action

Mumbai: The comedian turned actor, Kapil Sharma, immensely popular for his comedy show, recently took to Twitter to call upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi, bringing to his information about bribe demanded from him by a BMC (Bombay Municipal Corporation) official for getting his office constructed. 
The comedian wrote in his tweet that he has been paying income tax worth Rs 15 crore since the last 5 years and still he is asked for Rs 5 lakh bribe for getting his office made. He then questions PM Modi if this is what he means by ‘achhe din.’

However, BMC has now asked Kapil Sharma to name the officer who demanded the bribe and have asked him to file a formal complaint. 
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also assured the actor that the culprit will not be spared and has sought details from him about the incident. 
Kapil Sharma enjoys huge fan following across the nation and has bagged the title of India’s biggest comedian for his popular comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show,’ which previously used to be aired on colours under the name of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil.’ 
Not just this, if the buzz is to be believed, Kapil Sharma manages to earn around Rs 5 crore per month, charging Rs 60 lakh per episode of his show.
