Obnoxious pricing for Coldplay's India show

New Delhi: Coldplay fans were very excited when all the speculations finally cleared that the band will be visiting India and performing in Mumbai on 19th of September at MMRDA. The show is being organised by Global Citizen Festival run by Chris Martin.
The tickets will be made available on Bookmyshow and will start from Rs. 25,000 and go up to a whopping Rs. 5 lakh.
According to sources the event is a charitable one and aims at removing extreme poverty from the world by 2030. Reportedly the event will also feature Jay Z, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman, Deepika Padukone and the Maharashtra Chief Minister.
However, Twitterati in India had their share of fun after reading the sky high concert rates. They started making comparisons with the price of the Coldplay concert tickets to the recent announcement of the Apple iPhone 7 and the air pods.
