Venkatesh to be roped for 'Oppam' remake

New Delhi: The makers of Malayalam movie ‘Oppam’ are all set to rope in Telugu superstar Daggubati Venkatash for the lead role in the Telugu remake of the movie.
‘Oppam’ is a Malayalam movie which features Malayalam superstar Mohanlal playing the lead role and the movie is directed by Priyadarshan.
In the movie the lead character is seen playing the role of a blind elevator operator.
If reports are to be believed the makers of ‘Oppam’ have considered Venkatash to play the role of Mohanlal in the Telugu remake, though it is not yet officially confirmed.
Victory Venkatash is currently shooting for his upcoming movie Guru which officially launched two days ago. The movie is official remake of Bollywood movie 'Saala Khadoos'.
