ColorsTV apologises to Tannishtha Chatterjee

New Delhi: After ‘Parched’ actor Tannishtha Chatterjee lashed out at the Colors TV show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ for making fun of her dark skin, the actress has received a written apology from the channel.
The Spokesperson of Colors TV has apologised to the actor and assured that the content in the Comedy show will not be offensive anymore.
As a reply to the channels tweet, the actress not only accepted the channel's apology but also illustrated that the post was not just about her but about the prejudice.
In order to promote 'Parched', Tannishtha Chatterjee along with her co-star Radhika Apte and the director Leena Yadav went to the Colors TV show ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ where she was mocked because of her skin colour.
Tannishtha took to her Facebook page to express her feelings about being ridiculed for her skin tone.
