New Delhi: Amid the current tension between India and Pakistan, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) on Thursday passed a resolution banning Pakistani actors and technicians in India till the situation turns back to normal.

The step was taken by IMPPA after India carried out surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan and inflicted heavy damage killing 38 terrorists and inflicting heavy damage.

Earlier, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had issued a threat to Pakistani actors in India and asked them to leave the country. After this threat it is known that Pakistani heart-throb Fawad Khan left India 'secretly' earlier this week.
