New Delhi: Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Friday said that the action against terrorists is justified; however, Pakistani artistes are not terrorists.
Salman said, "They are artistes not terrorists. It's the government who gives them permits and visas."
Speaking about the surgical strikes by India on Wednesday, the superstar Salman Khan said, "Terrorists the na? Proper action tha."
Pakistani actors have been facing a lot of criticism and a possible ban after the September 18 attack on the Uri army base that killed 19 Indian soldiers.
Mumbai-based Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) on Friday had even passed a resolution to ban Pakistani artistes from the industry.
"(The) IMPPA in their 87th annual general meeting passed (a resolution that) no Pakistani will be hired by their producer members forever," the president of IMPPA TP Aggarwal said.
