New Delhi: Ever the Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Pink’ hit the silver screen; it has garnered not only commercial success but has also received a lot of critical acclaim.
‘Pink’ is a woman-centric movie with a strong message about the choices that young women of today make and about respecting them.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Choudhry and produced by Shoojit Sircar, ‘Pink’ deals with contemporary issues centring on woman and their safety. The film is filled with potent dialogues which take a jibe at society and its stereotypical norms and prejudices towards women.
‘Pink’ which has indirectly initiated a positive campaign of changing perspective towards women has touched the heart of the audience especially women. One such lady wrote an open letter to Taapsee Pannu who played one of the female leads in the movie.
A Twitterati by the name Shristi Mitra wrote a letter thanking and acknowledging Taapsee for the initiative taken up by her to portray a powerful message that could bring some changes in the society.
