Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ cleared by Censor Board with only one cut

New Delhi: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Monday cleared Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film ‘Shivaay’ with just one cut.

The film was screened for the CBFC on October 13 and has been given a ‘U’ certificate. Only the kissing scene between Ajay and Erika Kaar has been trimmed a bit.

A report in DNA quoted a source saying, “Shivaay was screened on Thursday after ADHM was passed by the CBFC on Wednesday. Ajay Devgn has been at the Walkeshwar office of the board for the last few days. Only the kiss and lovemaking scene (in the transparent tent hanging from a cliff) between Ajay and Erika Kaar has been trimmed a bit.”

Set to release on Diwali, ‘Shivaay’ will be clashing with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which has already underwent five cuts including some intimate scenes between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Shivaay is an action thriller film, directed and produced by Ajay Devgan. It features Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa Saigal, and Erika Kaar in the lead roles.
