New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is all set to take over Salman Khan as the brand ambassador of the cola soft drink ‘Thums Up’.
As per reports, the 4 years’ contract of the ‘Sultan’ actor with Coca-Cola India ended last month and the company has chosen not to renew it. However, Coca-Cola India declined to comment anything on this matter.
A source revealed that the company’s decision of not renewing the contract with the 50-year-old actor is more to do with the image of Coca Cola, which is seen as a young brand.
Earlier Coco-Cola India had endorsed Sallu bhai for the second time as the brand ambassador of ‘Thums Up’ by replacing Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
Akshay Kumar was the face of Thums Up before Salman took over four years back.
Recently Salman Khan landed himself in a controversy when he supported Pakistani artistes saying, “They are not terrorists” on the ongoing uproar whether the Pak artists should be allowed to work in Indian movies or not after the Uri terror attack.
