New Delhi: Veteran actor Mukesh Rawal, who was best known for donning the character of Vibhishan in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, lost his life in a tragic train accident on Tuesday, November 10.
As per reports, the accident took place when the 65-year-old actor was on his way for the dubbing of a Gujarati film.
Police recovered his body from the railway tracks near Kandivali railway station on Tuesday, November 15, at 9:30 AM.
Speaking to the media, Mukesh Rawal’s cousin sister-in-law said, “His dead body was found today morning at a railway track in Mumbai. He died in a train accident. We haven’t got the body yet for the last rites. It is still in the morgue.”
After the body of veteran actor was found on railway tracks, the news went out as a suicide case. However, Rawal’s cousin sister-in-law rubbished the reports of suicde and kept mum on disclosing further details.
Mukesh Rawal was a popular Gujarati film artiste and was also seen in some Bollywood blockbusters like Zid, Satta, Auzaar and Kasak.
