Mumbai: With all set in Mumbai for the Global Citizens Festival, that is scheduled to flag off today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the event via video conferencing. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other dignitaries are also likely to attend the event.
Performance from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with his British boy band is going to be most awaited act of the event. Chris Martin, who arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday, three days ahead of the debut edition of the Global Citizen Festival India (GCFI), also took a look at the stage and arrangements.
But this is not it for the people, as not only the Coldplay, but it will be Jay-Z, with Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and A.R. Rahman performing at the concert.
Producing the GCFI event, Wizcraft International Entertainment director Sabbas Joseph said, “Chris has come in to Mumbai today. The rest (of the band members) will follow.” Wizcraft also tweeted pictures of their world class stage.
