New Delhi: Bollywood actor, Sidharth Malhotra, recently visited ‘The Hobbiton’ set, where the Hollywood blockbuster ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ Trilogy was shot.
The ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ dekho actor, who is a big fan of ‘The Lord of the Rings’ was seen on the movie set ‘The Hobbiton’ and was seen completely immersed in the Kiwi culture.
One can step into the Hobbiton movie set, which is situated in the heart of New Zealand, and experience the lush pastures of the Shire, as featured in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies.
The Hobbiton Movie Set was a significant location used for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and The Hobbit film series. It is situated on a family-run farm about 8 km west of Hinuera and 10 km southwest of Matamata, in Waikato, New Zealand, and is now a Tolkien tourism destination.
The site offers guided tours which include Bagshot Row, the Party Tree, and Bilbo’s Bag End home. There are now 44 hobbit holes on view, however, it is not possible to enter any of them.
Saying that the sets gave him goosebumps, The ‘Student of the Year’ actor said that he wish of working in a fictional movie.
