New Delhi: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday roped in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to lead its anti-open defecation campaign after the 'Sultan' actor complained of open defecation outside his house at Bandstand in Bandra.

With this the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor will now join the initiative introduced by BMC through his Being Human Foundation and will donate 5 mobile toilets to the BMC to be placed at Bandstand.
Recently, BMC declared 12 out of 24 wards in Mumbai as open-defecation free.
As reported Bangalore Mirror, Mumbai Mirror reviewed a letter written by Being Human Foundation confirms the actor's participation in the anti-open defecation campaign.
Salman Khan and BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta are likely to discuss the matter very soon.
