Shahid Kapoor to marry Mira Rajput on July 7

NEW DELHI: More than his Bollywood updates, the B-town heartthrob Shahid Kapoor has been in news lately for his reported wedding to Delhi based girl Mira Rajput. But until now, everything has been just a speculation. Several dates were speculated for Mira-Shahid wedding but the actual date has officially been revealed now. Yes, July 7 it is!

A picture of the wedding card has been made public that shares all details of the big fat Punjabi wedding.

According to the reports, the wedding is scheduled for July 7 at Oberoi in Udyog Vihar region of Gurgaon and the subtle and elegant wedding card has Mira’s parents - Bela and Vikramaditya Rajput, and Shahid’s parents Neelima Azim and Pankaj Kapur and step mother Supriya Pathak on it. Seeking only blessings from the guests, the message on it says, “No gifts please, Blessings only.” The information sheet in the card is accompanied by a bunch of goodies in the corner.

Mira and Shahid reportedly met at a religious group, Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Delhi and got engaged earlier this year after which the actor revealed his plans of getting hitched this year.

The wedding clothes of the ‘Haider’ actor are being designed by Designer Kunal Rawal who is also his childhood friend while Designer Anamika Khanna will design the bride’s trousseau.

Reports tell that the wedding that will be attended by only close friends and family members of the couple in Gurgaon will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on July 12 that is expected to be attended by the who’s who of Bollywood.
