About to be the next big thing in Kollywood industry with her huge fan following, Akshara Haasan will be sharing screen with Thala Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal in their much-anticipated movie ‘Vivegam’ which is expected to release on August 10.

Akshara, with an immortal last name engraved to her has already played pivotal roles in the Bollywood industry as an Assistant Director in various films and also as a female protagonist in movies like ‘Shamitabh’ and ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewaana’.

While speaking to NewsX in an exclusive interview Akshara revealed that as the younger daughter of Kamal Haasan she never wanted to follow her father’s footsteps in acting because her first love was dance and football.

“Initially I didn’t want to be an actor, and I knew eventually I would want to be but not in the beginning because at that time my first love were dance and football,” said Akshara.

While sharing her thoughts on the trending topic of ‘nepotism’, Akshara mentioned the famous lines from the movie ‘Batman’ and said, “It’s not what you are underneath; what matters are what you do that counts”.   

When asked about his father Kamal Hasaan, Akshara simply said that she considers him a very interesting person to be around, who has lot of wisdom.
