Veteran actor Sitaram Panchal, who was known for his role in films like ‘Peepli Live’ and ‘Jolly LLB 2’ passed away on Thursday morning after his battle with cancer for three months. Sitaram was 54.
Earlier in July, Sitaram, who was suffering from lung and kidney cancer had appealed to the Bollywood industry and people for financial help in a Facebook post.The post read, “Brothers, please help me, I am suffering from cancer, your actor brother, Sitaram Panchal.”
The Bollywood actor who had also starred in films like ‘Pan Singh Tomar’, ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire.’ and ‘Bandit Queen’ celebrated his twenty-sixth wedding anniversary yesterday with his wife Uma Panchal and son Rishabh Panchal.
His son posted a family picture of the anniversary celebration on Facebook and shared that his father was keeping well until yesterday.
